The Lane Shark LS3 is a versatile front-mounted brush cutter for compact tractor owners seeking efficiency and precision. Engineered to tackle demanding tasks, this brush cutter for compact tractors offers reliability and ease of use.

The Lane Shark LS3, like the LS4, has the same multi-position cutting capabilities but is manufactured specifically for smaller tractors. The LS3 comes equipped with a 32″ cutting diameter and is compatible with tractors with a minimum weight of 2000 lbs and a hydraulic flow range of 5-8.5gpm.

Key Features

  • The Lane Shark LS-3 is a light duty rotary cutter designed to clear overgrown roadways, for light land management, and property maintenance.
  • Cutting width / cutting area of 34″.
  • Easily cuts up to 2–3” diameter limbs, brush, saplings, and underbrush.
  • The Lane Shark has 11 positions that allow it to cut vertically, offset, directly in front (level), or at 25°, 35°, and 45° in the vertical and offset positions.
  • The Lane Shark LS-3 attaches to the front of any FEL tractor with a SSQA or JD Hook & Pin-Style attachment system.
  • Adapters are available to fit most other applications (sold separately).
  • The Lane Shark LS-3 weighs just under 320 lbs.
  • When purchasing the Lane Shark LS-3 brush cutter, you will receive a unit equipped with #10 ORB (O-ring Boss) inlets. When using ORB, a minimum hose inside diameter of 3/8” is required.

Not compatible with skid steers.

Compatibility Specifications

  • Hydraulic implement flow rate 5 GPM to 8.5 GPM – Standard motor
  • Hydraulic implement flow rate 8.6 GPM to 15 GPM – High capacity motor (Special Order Only)
  • Third function or Lane Shark valve kit. Must have a WR Long C-Flow component OR return direct to sump (CANNOT RETURN THROUGH AUXILIARY HYDRAULICS).
  • We do not recommend rear remote plumbing as some tractors may lose loader priority.
  • Not compatible with diverter valves or stacked valve third functions – you will lose loader priority. Must exchange for W.R. Long C-Flow Third Function.
  • Minimum dry tractor weight 2000 lbs
  • Minimum tractor width 55 inches
  • Certified roll over protection system
  • For stabilization while operating the Lane Shark, fill rear tires of your tractor with water for use as ballast, as well as additional weight on the rear (e.g., box blade or rotary cutter).
